OLP-85 Optical Power Meter

The SmartClass TMFiber series OLP-85 and OLP-85P optical power meters are integrated solutions that combine fiber end-face "Pass/Fail" analysis functionality with optical power measurement. With a dynamic range of 100 dB, the OLP-85 and OLP-85P handheld optical power meters are versatile and compact instruments suitable for various application environments in any optical fiber network for measuring optical power and loss. Their high accuracy performance across the range means that the OLP-85 and OLP-85P can be applied in both low-power and high-power measurements.

In addition to having 24 hours of field standby capability, the OLP-85 and OLP-85P can be used for maintenance and installation in office centers, production environments, and laboratory workbenches, and can be operated remotely via their USB or Ethernet interfaces.

By expanding with the P5000i fiber inspection microscope on the OLP-85 or OLP-85P, users can inspect fiber end-face quality and automatically determine "Pass/Fail" with the press of a single key, obtaining certified-level results.

The OLP-85P features an integrated jumper microscope (PCM), which can be used to improve workflow efficiency.

When the OLS-85 light source is paired with the OLP-85 or OLP-85P optical power meter, it offers powerful functionality—automated testing to avoid manual errors and increase testing speed. Automated testing functions, such as automatic wavelength testing and multi-wavelength testing, send information about the transmitted wavelength to the receiving end. A compatible automated testing optical power meter will automatically set the wavelength, enabling accurate measurement of 4 wavelengths simultaneously and supporting multi-wavelength continuous wave testing. Users can easily store time-stamped results (power, loss, and fiber inspection) and generate and save comprehensive test reports on the OLP-85 or OLP-85P.
